     "Multi User" is true but "Dungeon" is not entirely accurate.   You can
wonder about through halls, rooms, cyberspaces, streets, etc; talk to other
characters (once in awhile a robot); collect "pennies"; and then use them to
add yet more halls, items, streets, etc to the game.

     The only way to really understand what MUD is about is to do it.  Below
is my list of MUD sites including the name, machine name, site number, and 
socket number.  To connect use "telnet site-number socket-number", create
yourself a character, and check out the place.  It is advisable to go to the
MUD's library first and do lots of reading.
