**** The Island Mudlib ***

Ok , strictly speaking since the rooms and objects are compiled together
with the server to produce a single binary they're not really a mudlib in
the usual sense but I can't think of a better name to give them so I'll use
it from hereon.

The mudlib provided with the server is a cut down version of a couple of the
islands in the mud I am writing myself which is based around a world that
consists of islands and sea (like Ursula Le Guins Earthsea trilogy) which
will provide you with a basic insight on how to write all the main mud
elements in Ogham. To this end I have provided a shop, a cave you can sleep
in to regain stamina, a ship which sails between the 2 islands, a scribe
who can advance your level if you have enough experience points and enough
items and npcs (non-player characters or monsters if you prefer) to get you
going straight away. I'm not going to explain how it all works here, its up to
you to nose through the source code and see for yourself. Suffice to say that
you want to look in the islands, items and npcs directories.

I have no objections to you using my mudlib in partial or complete form in
any mud you may end up running yourselves but bear in mind that if everyone
does that then Ogham will go the same way as Diku/Circlemud where every
single damn mud starts off in that goddamn Temple of Midgaard, except Ogham
will always start on a hill in an island.
