*** System macros ***

Here I will mention some of the important but less obvious macros that are
defined in defs.h.

PORT - Port mud runs on.

IGNORE_SIGTERM - If set to 1 then when mud recieves a SIGTERM it will ignore
it. If set to 0 then the mud shuts down with a message in the syslog.

PASSWORD_ECHO - If 1 echo passwords.

CHAR_MODE_ECHO - Some clients wont echo characters automatically so the server
has to do it for them. This only applies to character mode clients. If some
of your users complain that they get no echo from their keyboard set this
    to 1.

DOS_NEWLINE - Go through all socket output and convert all unix newlines to
the dual character DOS type. This is rather intensive so only do it if
you reckon you'll get some DOS users. If this is not set and a DOS user
logs in he'll see the lines "stepped". If you users all are Unix based
    ignore it.

MAX_USERS - This can be set to anything up to FD_SETSIZE. Bear in mind that
this is the theoretical maximum. Your machine may not have enough memory
to have that number of users connected.

START_ROOM - The room where users are put when they connect. This can be
overridden quite easily in login_tramp() in main2.c

THE_VOID - "Room" that master objects are in.

WITH_OBJ - "Room" that objects that are being carried are in. Its not a real
room , its simply a way of keeping track of them.

SALT - Used for password encryption. Don't ask me why its needed but the
crypt function requires it for some reason.

HEARTBEAT - Frequency at which the event functions are called. This includes
running all objects , rooms , regions etc. Currently set to 2 seconds.

AUTOSAVE_FREQ - The mud performs an autosave function in case of a crash. It
calls the save_user_stats() function for all users and it does it every
AUTOSAVE_FREQ seconds. Its currently set to every 120 secs (2 minutes).

TIME_OUT - Time after which user can idle at the login prompt before being
    booted off.

DECAY_AFTER - Length of time it takes corpses to fully decay in seconds.
